Are those bicycle handles sticking out of your ears?
That could happen if I get in a really bad crash. But soon enough, I will have my K-20's.

There's this one just in case you have not seen. http://www.head-fi.org/t/142023/songs-that-make-your-headphone-wooooow/3885#post_11811366
I guess there could be one that is IEM-centric?
Just got my K10's back from a refit. These things are bloody wonderful.
Worth every bean.
I've spent a few weeks listening to my IE8's waiting. The 8's are good but don't hold a candle to the K10's.

I have decided that the K10's are a flat out LIE. There are a total of 20 drivers not 10, The End.
You could always ask John to make a one-sided K20 for you. It must sound really good.

After using my K10, just sold my IE800 today.
He did a 20 per side if my memory serves me. Besides its not all about the number of drivers, or so people say.

Yes I did build a 20 driver per side, well documented, photos etc etc, it is on my face book page.
You joke, but Ultimate Ears actually does have a product somewhat like what you describe. It's called the UE 1 Pro, and it's essentially a pair of their UE4 Pro monitors placed into one earpiece for stage monitoring. So instead of two drivers per side, you get one side with four drivers.
I know a guy who has one. After one year of near-weekly use at gigs, he is still getting used to it. It's a niche product and I can see why Noble and other brands don't make anything similar.

Not a good idea, as stage monitors are used as a form of hearing protection. If one side is only used, then the other ear is open for exposure, furthermore the monitor is turned up at even higher levels in order to try to compensate for the lack of binaural summation , exposing the ciem ear to more noise as well.
From a hearing conservation stand point, a one sided ciem isn't recomended.
