Good question, although I'm not certain how refits in general are done.  Can you file down or build up acrylic and still get the smooth, clear finish?

I am going to say yes. Build up, sand down, polish. I had my first set done, you cant tell the difference.

I could be wrong, but I think the Jabra play has different specs. (Jabra Blue tooth Version 3, BTS Version 4)  Also the Jabra has different shaped buttons, also is cylindrical, the Noble BTS is kind of a "squared off" but yet still a cylinder (Samsung v/s Apple)  
 
And to finish off things, the BTS comes with a 2 pin 15.5 inch cable.... the Jabra does not

How long did it take Noble to do your refit? I'm about to send mine in for a refit as well.

If I remember correctly, refits are given top priority and are ready rather quickly.

Truth be told, I elected for a reshell and it was 8 weeks...

I may be wrong but I very much doubt that sanding and filing are involved. I would have thought that would be very hit and miss. It would be interesting to hear from John on this.

It's a judgement call as every situation is unique, so every sollution may be unique as well

Could be faster, it depends on the ebbs and flow of orders, Rush orders, the types of product ordered, the amount of Art work required etc etc.

if we simply slapped on a solid colored face plate on a pre mixed she'll color, and applied a pre stamped out logo on all our products

Then yes, we could build even faster... But that really isn't how noble builds CIEMs

Another reason you are the best in the biz, IMHO. You make pieces of art, with amazing sound. It doesn't do any good to not preserve that craftsmanship if a refit is necessary.
