Weird, everyone wants the t-shirt, but no one seems to want the jacket.

Is there any EU dealer yet for the universal fit K10? Might save a bit on customs that way.

We are in the process of setting up a dealer/agent in the UK which could also help service the EU region.

Noble varsity jackets would be sick!

So, I'm looking to buy an IEM for a friend.
I'm stuck between the Noble 6 and the Shure SE846. This will be his first step into the "audiophile" world.
I actually just bought a K10U myself, which I know is generally regarded to be better than the SE846(and better than any IEM for that matter), but what about the Noble 6? Anyone here who's heard both?

I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts on the SE846 and Noble 6 compare.

Come on.. You know what we are going to say. :). In all honesty I would say go with the SE846. Ive listen to them at a local meet and the sound was top notch. The SE846 has Adjustable sound signatures which essentially gives your friend 3 headphones for the price of 1. If this is his first time in the hifi community, having options for sound will help him figure out what he likes.

Nah, I was just kidding... but seeing the responses makes me think they probably should have jackets.  I'd wear it with my JH hat and UE shirt, just to confuse people.  Heck, might even put on some Schiit pants.

If he's being introduced to the audiophile world, I would assume he plays mp3 files either downloaded or streamed. If thats the case, in my opinion go for the N6.

The Shures whilst an excellent iem in the own regard, from my experience they are a bit pickier with source and amplification. With Mp3 / spotify etc, the top end was harsher and more sibilant to my ears. Shure treble is relatively sharper and the characteristic was exacerbated by sibilant treble from lower quality files. (I have since acquired an ak240 and tried the 846 again and was absolutely astonished at the difference I heard and what they were truly capable of. They're actually down to 840usd where i'm from and i've been tempted lately )

The N6 on the other hand, even with mp3 files had great detail and clarity across the range, and was a much more pleasant experience. They will definitely scale very well with higher end sources and amplification too. Yes they don't have that sub-bass the 846s are renown for, but i'd be more happy to use them as a daily driver if say a smartphone and spotify are my go-to.

Also you should ask what kind of music said friend enjoys. The N6 is an excellent all rounder and will work on everything you throw at it. The 846 will have greater low end impact, and has the option to tune the sound ever so slightly with the filters. If your friend enjoys bass heavy genres, might I suggest the ASG 2.5 as well. Excellent bass and midrange with smooth treble, also save's you a bit of money if budget is one of your considerations.

PM me for some impressions

Noble 6, K10u
W10 to 60, Um pro 30, 50
ASG rockets, 1+, 2, 2.5
Se846
IE800
Roxanne Uni, AKR 03, Rox Custom

some older models as well
