Do you want a Mercedes, or do you want a Yugo?

I think you mean "Do I want a 24kt gold-plated Mercedes?" ...as the innards are the same.

On one hand, innovation in design is awesome and these look great. On the other hand I am reluctant to pay over 1k for non SQ benefits.

We can gladly add a switch and a resistor, change the sound signature a bit from the original to another, if this will help out your reluctancy

You are right, our Dubai clients were asking for something stellar, something to set them apart, something exclusive.

The first thought was to go "gold"

But our people in Dubai felt it was too cliche.....   and requested something that showed the Wizard Heritage, something that could utilize wood and other materials beyond gold.  Thus, the "Prestige" was born.

I'd like to know, Brannan, if these are no cost w/K10. They are ones that are described as: Two-tone Amboyna Burl faceplates paired with amber shells and clear canals with 24K gold nugget throughout. Real hand-selected wood, real gold, real sound, built with real passion and, of course, our hands. 'Cause if they are, these are the ones I'll pick at the November 1st show in San Diego!

Not to blow up one's ego (you know who you are), I have only one word to describe these, "godly."

The Prestige line has really raised the aesthetic/artistic bar - by far.  Noble could rename the Prestige line to "Masterpiece."  Damn, those are gorgeous.  I kid not, it's like staring at an Ansel print - bravo.
