It is good but also depend on the source. For example SP2K, it is not substantial improvement with C9 to drive Sultan.
With C9 can get colored tube sound and slight larger soundstage over standalone SP2K.
Maybe @bluestorm1992 can add more impression here.

This thing pairs up so well with my Katana, even Savanna. A great pairing for detail retrieval, resolution, and clarity. Much much better. But only recommend for classics because this cable might be too harsh for some treble-sensitive ears.
