Please write a short impressions about M3. I looking a new hybrid iem. I like Khan, but with my DAP not good, to dry on mids, Katana are very good, but I prefer bass from dynamic, because always have texture and vibrato better in live instrument.

I’ve only heard the M3 once and I found it to be a heavy V shape

I only spent a short time with them at the Canjam London and I had them paired with the AK SR15, so someone who actually owns them can confirm this, but that was my initial impression

I feel I have fully burned in my Savant II, and oh my Lord, these are some delicious mids! I am listening to "Never Going Back Again" by Fleetwood Mac, and the guitar sounds incredibly rich and musical, with great clarity. Vocals are forward and lovely as well and the bass is tight and hits when called for. These are exactly the iem I was looking for, and I enjoy them so much it is hard to take them out of my ears. Bravo Noble, on a killer product and value!

Seems like the M3 might be a perfect compliment to the Savant II. One is balanced and the other a V. I like both signatures depending on what I am listening to.

Well, I think M3 sounds more W than V, slight V maybe. When it comes to V sound signatures I’m thinking of the likes of Sony IER-Z1R & 64 Audio Tia Fourte where the mids are slightly recessed, I don’t think this is the case with M3’s mids.

The Z1R - definitely. The Fourte, I wouldn't say so personally... Definitely not the Noir

I only got a relatively short listen with the M3, and it was out of an AK SR15, so not the most powerful source, but the mids were quite severely recessed

I meant the original Fourte, not the Noir.

The M3 is definitely impressive. The thing that stood out for me is its dynamic range: simply magnificent. I think it kind of ruined some pure BA IEMs for me and makes me wonder what my future hybrid flagship purchase should be, possibly an estat/piezoelectric + planar + DD IEM.

On another note, I’m seeing $600 K10s on Massdrop, what a steal for that price!
Saw the K10U's for sale at $600, and almost pulled the trigger. That seems like a killer deal!

@Wes S maybe you could compare Savant II with Katana?

I would love to, if someone wants to send me a Katana. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: So far, I have only heard 2 Noble iems and I own them, the X and Savant II.

The Katana has a higher level of technicality in terms of detail retrieval, with a similar soundstage width, but some more depth. It also has much more sparkle and a more forward treble presentation

The midrange is the strongest aspect of both the Katana and the Savant but the Katana has the upper hand imo

The Savant has somewhat more midbass than the Katana, but less subbass

Overall, both excellent IEMs - the Katana one of my all time favourite along with the Elysium, which is basically a Katana on steroids (but so is the price :D)

Thanks guys. I like Katana for the mids, especially vocals. I used now Katana universal, because my CIEM must to refit. For me perfect iem/ciem will be bass and highs from Khan and mids from Katana.
