I use jh audio billet aluminum case for my k10 CIEM with dhc symbiote fusion cable. 1010 gets bit cramped with that combo

I use the stock UE case for my TF10, with my cable from Ted, now thats a tight fit. So much so its what caused me to crack mine and have them sent in for repair. But I have it down now, wrap the cable around 3 fingers, then insert in the case putting the actual IEM's in first, the cable goes around the ear pieces.

I found Ted's cables can be a bit sensitive to tight wrapping. I had the same cable setup as you for my 846's back when I had them, and I ended up having some issues with the connector–Ted suspected from how tightly I wound them. Granted, I was trying to squeeze a 52" cable, 846's, and custom silicone sleeves all in that tiny Shure zipper case, but just a word of caution.

Not sure if 3 fingers would be considered tight, I am not making any tight bends from what I can tell.

Probably smart to just go by your best judgement. If it doesn't seem too tight, I wouldn't think there's much issue there. I have gotten used to 4 fingers with all my IEM cables, but I have small hands, so 4 for me is probably 3 for most haha!

I like the galaxy-esque part of the new universal line, and I think it shares the exclusivity of the wizard lot. Too bad the wizard lot is only reserved for savant now. By the way, I have never seen all of the products in a single line being back-ordered before.

That aside, is there any comparison of Django or Savant to the old PR? I am going to upgrade, or rather, adding one to the collection. Thanks in advance.

The PR is a very "Stand Alone" type product, as there isn't a lot of overlap between the Savant/Django to the PR, especially when compared to the "P" mode of the PR.

Yes the P is crazy precise, at the risk of being harsh, the Django and Savant does not share that harshness quality.

The Django is more bass enhanced than the Savant.
From the Savant thread:

"I used to own a pair of N4C, which I sadly lost a few weeks ago. I then ordered the N4, the Savant, and the K10U  from Noble to try them out. At first I did not like the Savant as much as the N4, noting the slight, slight difference in their brightness. (Don't take me wrong, Savant is 95% as bright as the N4, and  it took me 20 mins to notice this slight difference.) But later one thing changed my mind: I noticed how much better the K10U was able to create an amazing sense of space, which N4 lacks. In the end I decided that I didn't like the heavy bass of K10U, which made the low notes of a piano sound like double-bass - it was too muddy for a instrumental fan like me. But I also discovered that I could not turn back to the N4 anymore, having experience the sense of space that K10 creates. This was when I realized the merit of Savant. It's between the N4 and the K10. It has both the clarity of the N4 and an improved sense of space (though not as great as K10). The slightly emphasized bass(compared to N4) revealed a not-insignificant portion of the bass line of some music pieces, which were undiscovered due to the absence of bass of the N4. This was the reason why in the end, I decided to keep the Savant, and I'm happy for the decision. "

One of these days I'll grab my favourite from a new batch. Keep up the great work John. :)
