Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

  Hi everyone,

Have there been any reviews/thoughts/impressions yet on the Savanna universal?

I did a quick search but couldn't find anything - did notice that on the Noble website everything is listed as pre-order but thought there may be previews.

Thanks.

I doubt we will see any for a little while. People need to get them, then spend time before they can give honest impressions. The 4 which is now Savanna, is my 3rd fav in the line.

The site will be refreshed tomorrow, we are facing a deep backorder on the new universal line. All new pre-orders will likely ship later in May.

That being said, we have arranged for some reviews (a limited number due to the backorder) and I am sure those who have pre-ordered will post their impressions.

Thanks for the replies guys. To confirm, it's not just a naming change for the customs line, right? Previously I had entertained the thought of getting a pair of Nobles but I don't recall any of the previous lineup striving for a neutral sound like in the Savanna description, which has now greatly piqued my interest.

Love those bluish IEMS recently posted. Absolutely gorgeous.

Any further impressions on the Dulce?

@FullCircIe How do the Dulce compare to the old Noble 8s?

Dulce, more bass

The N4 in CIEM or Universal was always considered a neutral type sound.  The Savanna is as well.

As far as "just a name change"

There are/were some changes made internally, and obviously externally as well.  As to the "magnitude of changes" obviously the changes can't be much as the descriptions are still essentially the same.   I think of this as more of a Gen 1, Gen 2 type situation.

Objectively, the ER4s would have the highest impedance, balance may be more of a subjective answer, so I'll bow out from answering that.
yes I feel they are the best balanced iems in the market but I cannot come to a conclusion on which is the most balanced. Anyway, can I ask why Noble has not created a single BA iem since single BA offers the highest coherency. Cheers :)
