I have been dying to go to CanJam and I have relative that lives in Fullerton CA sounds like I need a vacation. I only joined this forum in August and my wallet seems to be a lot lighter for some reason. But at least I have stuff to show for my hard earned money. Since I joined I made so much stuff from cables to headphone stands to ciems. I just cant stop building stuff its not even like I need the stuff I just like doing it for down time and escape from every day stresses.

Those are great reasons to build, as we all need to find something constructive to relieve stress!  I tip my hat off to you.

Fullerton is very close to Costa Mesa, so it sounds like you should come on over to CanJam!  When you are out here, there are a lot of places to eat, but try Bruxie - the closest location to CanJam is in Costa Mesa, just south via 55 freeway, not far away at all.  If you like waffles and waffle sandwiches, you should try it out, uber yummy!  Here's the link: http://bruxie.com/locations/costa-mesa/  If you do decide to come, hope to see you there!

Hey my name is Ralph and I came here to learn what should be my next pair of head phones. I'd also like to know if I can get a new headband for my ATH-WS70's because the speakers work fine but a friend broke the arm that holds the speaker.

Welcome.. Ralph (Ralph12).. Regarding concern about your headphones, it depends on where they are broken. You may wish to contact Audio Technica and ask for list of parts available for the ATH-WS70s. If they can supply you with a diagram showing location of individual parts, this might help you. I am glad the drivers (speakers) are intact, and hope you are able to repair your headphones without too much cost or effort. Good luck..:)

Well I need the whole Headband and arm for it. I have pictures uploaded of where it is broken. [Outside] http://i58.tinypic.com/2emo394.jpg, [Inside] http://i60.tinypic.com/28832ux.jpg . I have a thread started but i'm not sure if admins have checked it and allowed it through, but it does show in my started threads tab for me. http://www.head-fi.org/t/741370/part-for-my-ath-ws70 . Apprechiate the concern.

I'm concerned cost of repair may exceed replacement. May be worthwhile to check eBay for cheap used pair. That way you could use for parts, if nothing else..

audio enthusiast here for over 50 years.

i became famous in college for always wearing headphones while watching sporting events

i don't use heads much at all anymore but i bought an oppo ha-1 a few months back and was looking for a headphone to compliment

so what is the deal with their pm1 and pm2 headphones? they don't have a great look, how is the sound and quality?

what are other headphones that might be better at these price points?

thanks all

Hello friends, I am a classical music lover and have been using Stax headphones for over 30 years. I have very good ears, but am rather intellectually challenged by most of the technical stuff here)-: However, I find the"Impressions" threads most useful. Pleased to be here!
