You want it all eh?
From my personal experience you're best off buying used at that price

I think the best suggestion I can offer is to save your money for a little longer. There are some great budget phones in the 60-80$ range that would probably be worth waiting for.

I don't think those are around the ear or circumaural though. But thanks for the suggestions.

You can still find uptowns for $65 I think.

Regardless you've been suggested basically every budget option available in this thread. Either pick one or raise the budget.

The truth of the matter is you're not going to get music magic from a full circumaural headphone with all the features you're after for 40$. There are other options in the IEM catagory that might be better fits, but if you want what you're asking you'll just have to reach a little deeper into your pocket.

Also, this headphone isn't mentioned very much, but the Shure SRH-240 is a great headphone in the $50 range. They are very comfortable, but they leak some sound. Also, out of the box they sound terrible, but after break in, you wouldn't believe they are the same headphone. I honestly am surprised I haven't seen this name around this site more.

I have sennheiser HD 380 pro. Its been vary durable, has a detachable coiled cable and comes with a nice case for travel. They sound really clean and are comfortable to wear for a long time even with my vary large head. For the price its hard to find a better pair of phones.
