What's the sound stage like on these? I'm selling my HD 25-1 due to lack of sound stage. I so hope these Beyers deliver on that front.....

It looks like the headband can probably be bent a bit to accommodate a bigger head if necessary.

Thanks.

Would anyone know where it can be bought cheap in UK?  Best price I can find is £244 from Thomann.de

A friend of mine already got his pair from Nova Music in Milwaukee and I was able to demo them for about 30 mins last weekend (and I'm getting my own pair from B&H on Thursday) so I will have some impressions very soon.

Got DT1350s today and have put them on my head for an hour or so. Build quality is better than HD 25-1 II IMO.

First impression is that they are bass light phones and deserve an amp. Bass is there, but I believe it may not be enough for someone. Treble and mids are great. Sound stage is not as wide as other phones I have when DT1350s were plugged into Sony A845. They may be improved after burn-in.

Compared to your other headphones in your sig, how would you rank the bass/soundstage? TBH neither are deal breakers for me as I prefer less bass and don't expect soundstage from closed supraaural headphones, but am interested to get more detail all the same.

I would say bass is between SM3 and DBA-02s. It's hard for me to compare them with full-size open phones. Sound stage is better when they are connected to Arrow. I won't think DT1350s have a narrow sound stage and are above average so far.

Well, if they do sound like a smaller T1, I will definitely pass on them... But looking forward to reading more impressions...

How bizarre! When I had the T50 for a short while, once I got then pressed properly into place on my ears, they had some of the biggest bass I'd heard in a portable headphone. I mean, it was just huge, deep bass. So for Beyer to have backed off to almost a 'bass-light' phone is pretty weird. That would rule them out for me.
