  Just wondering, but shouldn't this thread be in the "summit-fi (high end audio) forum" since this is a flagship headphone and also costs a pretty penny (maybe not as much as some other flagships but still) so it deserves to be there? We are waiting for reviews to see if we have to move the thread there correct? Or is it just here in the "full-size headphones" section because of convenience?

Yes, the Ultrasone ED8 is so summit-fi it's not even funny. It's way better than any entry STAX rig at half the price.

So it's only the price range? I mean, the Ultrasone ED10/12 is unanimously regarded as "not worth it for the price" yet it's still considered summit fi. So is it really just the price tag that sets a can to that tier? Doesn't that seem a bit shallow? And DrSheep, I know exactly what summit fi means. Maybe I have too high expectations for the AD.
