Hi everyone,
I've been out of the headphone game for a few years. My 3rd, and longest lasting warranty replacement of the RE-600 (thank you v2) took a dive into my washing machine and subsequently my dryer. Similarly my backup 1st warranty replacement of the RE-262 finally lost it's left channel. Before that I had RE-Zero (RIP).

After reading a number of positive reviews on the Blessing 2 and comparing the RE-400's FR, I'm pleased to announce that I'll be getting a pair as a belated birthday present.
The artwork appealed to the weeb in me as well UwU

I'll be back soon to report my impressions as someone who has stuck with mid-range/budget HiFiMAN IEMs for the better part of a decade. Cheers!

Would getting the blessing 2 blind be advisable? Unable to audition it around me unfortunately. Looking for something with smooth and detailed mids (more of female vocals)

The "smooth" is pretty grey here imo. There's a soft smooth and there's a slightly "hard" smooth lol. B2 is latter. It's not the "liquid" mids if descriptive helps.

If you go blind, you're gonna get familiar with the head-fi maxim real quick.

so I've been tips rolling on my B2, Between stock , sedna tips , and Faudio vocal&Instrument, I found that the Faudio Instrument tips have the best result BUT it has 3mm bore that i struggled real HARD to put it on the B2 , The sedna fit perfectly and have that comfort + sound balance that i like, Faudio Vocal it fits but it was the worst sounding i think because the nozzle length is too short for the B2,

Got my Blessing 2 today! I was mainly worried about the fit, but they’re fine so far. We’ll see how that pans out, as I have smaller ears. Like everyone else has said, they are quite large, and I’d imagine I could keep them on for a couple hours at most. I still think fit’ll be what makes or breaks it for most people.

Initial Impressions

Haven’t listened too closely yet, but the tonality is very agreeable. Definitely a step up from the original Blessing; B1 had limp bass and a very analytical sound. The B2 is more engaging and the bass response has some actual depth. The midrange also doesn’t feel nearly as thin.

Resolution is decent. Not TOTL by any stretch, but more than acceptable for this price point.

I wasn’t expecting to like the new stainless steel/acrylic design (I preferred the porcelain-esque B1 visually) but it’s quickly growing on me. Looks like they’re using laser engraving for the engravings...pretty impressive detail for what is. The case is interesting. You can fit a small DAP in there if you have one, but it’s not going to be easily pocketable.

I’ve attached some photos for everyone’s viewing pleasure too!

Oh, and don’t mind the waifu. No waifu no laifu.
