I have a feeling they are aimed at the 560, not the 400 series.

subbed. for 299 (and a few good reviews) i'd take those in a heartbeat ... unfortunately, I have yet to figure out an 'easy' way to get monoprice stuff to wherever in the world I am :)

Thanks Lohb .. I did that with Massdrop once ... and that just takes the 'fun' out of it (there goes the savings) .. and that was to a 1st world country :) Most of the year I am in a 3rd world country where longer shipping times, corrupt customs officials and incomprehensible tax laws add to that 'fun' :) 
 
Have to wait, see and continue drooling :D

It's interesting to see that they sell a $50'ish(with a coupon) OEM Dragonfly 1.x(same top LED's, same "Streamlength" USB code): http://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=15494
 
They are well aware of our expectations and can prolly throw bigger bucks at chinese OEM than any niche ortho manufacturer, all this said distortion and diaphragm tension must be extremely hard to consistently QA on 10cm drivers
