here in Germany the ATH-M50 are 170€ (250$) "worth". Just everywhere. If I would import it from the States or UK, I'll have to pay 230$+ with Tax and customs duty.
 
I'm pretty sure there are way better cans for this price, as everyone here is stating that the ATH-M50 are good phones for their price (They are at about 100$ at Ebay -.-)
 
So I tried to find cans for somewhat equivalent price, and I could find:

Which of these would be "better" than the M50 for the price? And which one would you suggest me? It shouldn't be too depending on the amp (As im just using a Yamaha Reciever atm to "amp" rofl). I listen mainly to electronic music and Hip-Hop.

Isn't Sennheiser a German company? If so I would think you should be able to get good prices on them in Germany. I love my HD600 and I got it for $260

These guys used to sell the ATH-M50 for 110 euro. They ship to Germany as well. You could always drop them an email and make 'em an offer incl. shipping.

I'd just mail them and tell them how you just missed out on the sale. Ask them if they can ship it to you for 125,- incl. shipping. You never know!
