LP6 Ti 199 -- The Most Expensive and Technical Advanced Portable Player on The Planet?

Why do you think so? Did you have a chance to compare this dap with R2R2k since they are using the same TI dac chips?
I have been burned so many times by these hot reviews...This ain't 1K but 6K we are talking about here. So need to be careful.
I owned R2R2k. And they don’t use the same Dac chips. The same Dac chips with LP6 uses schiit yggdrasil.I’ve chosen this dap as it sounded so close to my desktop rig and stationary system. The other dap liked was cayin n8, but it suonded one step back.

Now I’m not thinking separatly of dap and iems, I choose rigs that consist of iem, dap and cable. And I found 2 rigs for me that is completely great. The one thing left, I want to buy a cable for victor 10000.

You going to , so you can let us know your experience. This hobby/distraction is more about reading , searching , chatting , buying than the music. I ended up buying it and used it for awhile.

I won’t tell You anything))) It’s not a toy for 500 bucks to buy just of somebody’s opinion) Only two things to say: I’ve chosen Gold version due less analytical sound, with Ti version You don’t need any external amps to drive headphones.

Can it push headphones ? Yes it can but will it push a great planar to its full potential , no way. When I had it , it did push my TH900 and 9200 pretty well , but could both sound even better with a great amp , yes. The N8 also can push my TH900 and 9200 but both daps really depends on your music , your ears and your mind. I demod the Gold model it was nice but I prefered the TI cause it did push my headphones well. Adding an amp well became better.

I have DMP-Z1, N8, N6ii, DX220 and Max, LPGT, SP2K, M15 , M6 Pro, R2R2K Black and LP6Ti. (And, yes, I do realise that I’m a: incredibly lucky, and b: out of my mind. Not to mention c: completely broke).

There is plenty to enjoy in each of them but, if I had to pick just one, for sound alone, with the music (almost entirely classical and mostly high res) I listen to, it would almost always be LP6Ti. With DMP-Z1 close second.

I don’t have the vocabulary or technical know-how to explain exactly why, so please take this as the entirely subjective opinion it is, but the LP6Ti has an effortless, warm, spacious and resolving sound that suits my tastes and my music, and brings out the best in all the IEMs I’ve used with it so far. I only have one full-size, non-electrostatic headphone, and I haven’t tried that yet, so I can’t comment on how it drives those.

Certainly, I’m now keen to hear L&P’s upcoming P6 with discrete ladder DAC.

“LP6Ti has an effortless, warm, spacious and resolving sound“

that almost sounds like the description of the exotic Calyx M DAP. You can buy that DAP for 400 bucks, that’s peanuts for you, and then please report back how they compare. THANKS! ;-)
