That's hard to put my finger on. There is a definite organic charm to the QP1R tuning. The LPG is right there, but its humongous power is what makes it so special. It makes harder to drive headphones sing nicely. If I do win the $600 million Powerball this evening then I'm sure I will get an LPGT. I love the balanced output on it and all of the menu options, but my problem is I'm lusting after the Gold Sony at the moment.
