Really looking forward to impressions here.
Its bigger sibling impressed me, cannot wait to hear the 5000.
 
While I am not expecting it to compete as such (that would be like expecting the x1 and upcoming x7 to be in the same league), I am intrigued to hear some impressions.
 
Would also love to know, and sorry if it has been covered, what this unit does should it encounter PCM > 96k.  Does it down sample of take a sh!t fit?

I have a loaner from the Tokyo show. The output impedance is a bit high ideally for IEMs but I'll see how it goes.
