In  post #403 of this same thread, there is this link. Maybe it's helpful -

If you have not already, you can try the Parametric EQ setting posted by one of the members here post #1156. For me, it took this DAP to another level.

Filter 1 - 33.3Hz/+4.0dB/BPF/1.0
Filter 2 - 55.0Hz/+6.5dB/BPF/1.0
Filter 3 - 1124.0Hz/+2.0dB/BPF/1.0
Filter 4 - 10000.0Hz/+8.4dB/BPF/1.0
Filter 5 - 10886.5Hz/+6.0dB/BPF/1.0

Big thanks for the link about PAW 5000 technical review, really helpful!

But I don't understand why I should use this (or any other) PEQ settings, specially because all kind of headphones / CIEMs have different tuning and this would never match, because of personal taste and tuning. My used headphones / CIEMs sounding perfect, I would never change the sound signature, I'm always looking for linear neutral sources with low output impedance. In general I never use a EQ at all. My headphones and CIEMs need to sound to me perfect from the first listening, if not I would not buy them. But if you like this settings that's fine.

  Yes, sorry for typo.

It happens to me all the time using translation websites lol, so don't worry.

Unless someone else knows of a source, I think these guys should have the latest (but you can always search this thread or headfi site too)

PLEASE NOTE - I don't have a P5k yet, so cannot confirm the above, just "think" they will.

Maybe as a baseline to start tweaking.

I already have this one. I thought they got the new FW out English version. But it's only Korean and Japanese.

I've read the 9 reviews of this product on head-fi.org and I have two questions:
1. Will it read Exfat cards not formatted by the player itself?
2. Does it or does it not have SPDIF output? If it does, does it mean it can connect to a Mojo for example?
Thanks

Can't help with 1 as I formatted it via the player but you can couple it with your Mojo, I used to, but traded my PAW500 for an AK100 as it stacks better with the Mojo. Output though is limited to 96 kHz (green glow on the Mojo).

Thanks but that's an optical connection, right?

SPDIF is only the main type of digital audio interconnect.

SPDIF can be like a optical toslink or a or coaxial.

The PAW 5000 has a optical 3,5mm toslink output.
