I know Ultrasone makes faux leather pads for pro650, I'm wondering if these are usable on the 750, or if there are any leather or faux leather  pads that fit the 750?
650 pads:

Also where can I acquire a raw 1/8 screw-in type plug to make a cable for my 750's?

I can't speak with experience for Ultrasone, but from other headphones, different pads make a HUGE difference in sound.  At least they can.

Often, if a company doesn't offer pleather or velour pads for a specific model, they do so for a reason--because sealing or opening up the pads can make headphones sound terrible.

It's like the people who have tried the real leather Beyer pads on the open models--real leather sounds like a great idea, but the pads themselves destroy everything you want to get out of those headphones.

Leather pads tend to provide more isolation & prevent leakage compared to velour pads, at the expense of airiness & soundstage.

I emailed Ultrasone and it's confirmed. This is what they said,

"Yes you may use them but it will change the sound quality. You may order them at our web store www.ultrasone.com."

I'm ordering them :D - if I can get them to Canada that is.

Yeah they will fit but the SQ will be changed for the bad in my experience.
It was the Pro 550/650 pads on Pro 2500.
If its anything like that you will just be wasting your money.

Ultrasone models that use velour pads don't even use the same pads on different models.
The Pro 750,900,2500, HFI 2200 all have their own and different velour pads.

The Pro 2900 and HFI 2400 I think might use the same as the 2500 and 2200 but just changed the color to black.

Yeah, I actually just got my Pro 750s like 10 minutes ago and hell I don't need other pads - these are amazingly comfortable, and still isolate well (for me anyways.. but I listen to music quiet) - so no need for more pads.
