Anyone know if they ship to Sweden? I can't read german. If they don't maybe this shop does: Hifi-Kopfhörer , seems like they sell it for the same price.

They ship to any country within EU (is what they say in FAQ). You can select your country and shipping cost will be calculated at checkout.

what is the clamping force like with the DX-1000 vs the AH-D7000? I intend to wear some full size cans outside sometimes, and IEM's late at night when cans are not safe.

I just bought mine today. Got the gorgeously overpriced stand too. It will fit in my luggage (see post 612) -- and yes, it seems totally unfair for me to have it and not Skylab since his reviews led me to it . . .

(They can still be ordered, though: Gizmine : Gadget and Lifestyle Design Superstore)

Overpriced???? NAHH!!

I could never pay that much for a stand but more power to ya!

I hope you like them. Will look for your impressions...after proper burn-in of course.

I fully would have the stand, but when I got my first pair of DX1000's from Japan I was concerned I wouldn't have room in my suitcase for both

I have to admit that I came here knowing I would get it and purposely left room. And of course I threw away the gold bars and my medical records and birthday cards from my kids from the last 15 years that were wasting space in the suitcase.

I enjoy them for female vocal. They are unmatched by my collection of phones. Best for certain records, while bettered by other cans for other records.. I couldn't see myself paying for the wooden stand. Got a banana stand for them instead, for $1. heh.

All good things to those who wait.
It's in the waiting or anticipation that provides much joy, much like when one goes and says hello to that special girl and you wonder if....
