For speakers get the Pioneer SP-BS22-LR and a great cheap little 50W/Ch amp. (Note you need a laptop power supply) I have this combo and it's great. Also, I just got a Klipsch RW12-d subwoofer, and it is AMAZING! (There is a $70 off coupon on the product page)

JVC really need to put a label up with the required amount of burn-in in order to achieve their best/ true sound, cuz i had a love and hate, well mostly hate relationship with the FXZ200s for the longest time. But they have finally showed their true colors/ potential after literally like a month of intense burn-in.  

 
Interesting that the more a headphone costs and the more potential of buyers remorse that exists, the more a lengthy burn-in is required.
 
Why not just say they may not live up to the hype, as nothing ever does anyway.

Go get the Klipsch ProMedias if they are on sale for like $100, heard lots of great things about them, too bad they are butt ugly.

Man you got a great deal on those logitechs. They are all discontinued here. I'm looking for a lil' cheaper than the Klipsch's, only for casual listening.

I like their high 108db/mw sensitivity, which is probably good enough to be driven by a portable player. Their Low impedance also go along the same line. However, that 16ohm imepdance may lead to bass distortion, unless they have some new design to prevent that. Also, they may not tolerate high output impedance (e.g., HM-801 or AK100) or hiss very well.

I wonder if that 16ohm impedance is flat across 20-20K Hz or otherwise like Sennheisers or balanced armature drivers.

Their 480g weight is not far from LCD-2s' 550g.

^ Welp some things does warrant their hype, the JVC S500s, the Sony MH1C, those monoprice iems, etc are great examples, not only just because of their performance to low price ratio, but due to the fact that they are technically solid gears.  
 
I had thought the FXZ200s did not really live up to their hype initially and wrote this exact thing on my FXZ200 vs. CKN70 write up, but now with more intense burn-in they have finally began to open up. I tried to like them a lot but realized that i was just lying to myself, so i was ready to trade them away or sell them. I was able to get to hear the gr07 BEs just recently and they seemed to have smoked these FXZ200s outta the water, so i had no doubts i was gonna get rid of them.
 
BUT ghostfits told me to burn the hell outta them for 2 to 3 more weeks cuz he heard his FXZ200 changed up on him recently and is really digging them now which wasn't the case before. So i was like what the hell, these have so much potential might as well give them one last chance before i get rid of them for good. Lo and behold the bass of these FXZ200 got toned wayyy down which allowed the mids and highs to come through and finally shine. They almost sound transparent now and the sound is much more balanced and engaging than before.  They now have a lovely natural and spacious presentation and with a crazy nice sub bass along with pretty good bass texture and speed combined with sparkly mids and good extended highs, these are keepers now for sure.

Never tried any of them sadly but those Creative looks real nice and spiffy, they seem like a really nice simple set up. I would personally go with those but they have no woofers though so....... it all boils down to if you need/ want a set of subs that's all.

Mentioned this in another thread, but these are definitely the epitome of what I'd want a headphone to look like. Pretty much satisfies everything in terms of aesthetics for me.
