Which Klipsch tips are you referring to? The tips from my C3's and X10's don't come close to fitting on.

I think Klipsch uses the same standard tip for all their IEMs don't they? I bought a pack of the large single flange tips and I was able to make them fit. It requires a bit of elbow grease but I was able to put them on.

Oh btw, anyone bought the limited edition fxt90L2, the one with the gold finish?
How did it look in real life?

Worth the extra dough? (eBay USD150 by yusukeya)

I have the L2 version and I like it alot. The gold finish is a very pale gold and looks pretty close to silver. It's not garish and looks pretty understated and classy in my opinion.  With that being said, the most striking thing about the L2 is the transparent silver cable. It's probably the nicest looking stock IEM cable I've seen and is a nice change from plain black. Is it worth the extra money? That's really something you have to decide for yourself. It's not really a huge price difference though, so if you feel like it, go for it. I don't think you'll be disappointed. If you do a google image search, you should be able to find pictures that give a better idea of how it looks including the cable.

Anyone on the fence about getting these don't be they are awesome and I'm liking them as much and even more in some cases than my TF10's.  They sound good on a flat EQ but they respond amazingly to some tweaking and sound absolutely wonderful. Their bright but in a good way with very good bass that isn't overblown but has good depth and punch.  The mids to me are ever so slightly recessed but still well represented with very good detail and the highs are crisp, well extended but never overbearing.  I think the soundstage is a little better than average, very good depth and width as well as separation, also a airy and spacious presentation that give them a wonderful sound signature.

I'm quite shocked at how well they preform compared to how much they cost which imo make them one of the best bang for buck out there for sure.  If you haven't checked out jokers review on them you really should as its very detailed and spot on in every way.

I can't believe I'm about to say this but its making me think about selling my TF10's and if you knew how much I like them then you'd know thats saying something about how good I think the FXT90 are.

Are you sure about selling TF10? I'm liking TF10 more for their better clarity, wider soundstage and better vocals. I think that I'm going to sell JVC if after proper burn in I won't like their sound.

Sounds to me like they share the sound signature with Meelectronic's C51, can anyone confirm this?

Now I'm not going to make any rash decisions at the moment but to me they just sound really good.  Don't get me wrong I still like my TF10's but the JVC's sound just as good to me as my 10's.  The UE's do have better clarity and soundstage but not by much imo, I really just think I hit on a EQ setting that makes the FXT90 shine.

In the end I'l probably keep my TF10 but that just how much I'm liking the JVC's at the moment.  I was thinking about if I did sell them getting the GR07's but I'll just wait on that.  I wish I could trade with someone for a while or get a loaner so I could try some of the ones I want out before I buy them because I hate returning stuff its just a hassle to me.  So if anyone out there has the GR07 but not the TF10's and would like to try them out a nice little month trade would work well

Welp, I've joined the club. It was a hard decision to make between this and the GR07 but I done made it. I got the L2s from AccessoryJack for $150 usd. I expect I will probably have to shop around for tips, cuz I could never do single flange tips...I have some olives i could de-core i guess but I'll probably end up looking for HFM biflanges or Sony hybrids or something

Stock tips never work for me but the ones that came on the JVC's work really good and are quite comfortable.  I ordered some Monster gel and foam tips but since the stock ones work I'll try them with my TF10's.

Welcome and enjoy. If you prefer bi-flange tips I'd recommend the MEElecs, as they're the ones most other users have reported good results with. I've tried both the HFM and the MEElecs, and prefer the latter by a quite a bit. You can buy them here:

MEElectronics Original 'Balanced Sound' Double-flange Eartips (3 pieces set) (Gray)

Or, if you're interested in trading tips that you don't want for these, PM me.

I've currently got the TF10's and I love the sound but hate the fit so I will be returning them. I started a thread looking for earphones with TF10 sound quality (http://www.head-fi.org/t/589406/tf10-alternative-atrio-mg7-vs-ath-ck90pro-vs-jvc-fxt90-vs-sony-ex700). I've also currently got the Klipsch X10's as well but my 2-year old S4's sound better so they are definitely getting sold. Would you say the FXT90 would be a good alternative to the TF10's and an upgrade over the S4's?

I have both TF10 & FXT90. I don't have any fit issues with TF10. I prefer to TF10 to fxt90 because of bigger and more airy tf10 soundstage. I also find tf10 clarity to be better. Vocals are more extended & clearer too. What do I like about fxt90 is the bass ;) It's definetely better. Mids seems to be not as recessed as the tf10 ones. TF10 my first BA earphones, so that's maybe have to do something with my taste. I also haven't fully burned fxt90, so don't believe everything I say.

I have both the TF10 and FXT90 and I think the JVC's would be a great choice especially over the S4's.  The FXT90 has a brighter and livelier sound signature than the TF10 but its not fatiguing at all.  There not quite as detailed as the TF10 but not by much and I like the bass on the FXT90 better than the UE's.  The soundstage of the JVC's aren't that far behind the TF10's either and they have great depth and sound separation also.
