I was just wondering for those who got theirs from AccessoryJack about how long it took with standard shipping not EMS to get to the US?  I'm going out of town in 3 weeks and was hoping to have them before then.  If there not here in time I guess I'll just have the post office hold them tell I get back as thats the safest way to go about it.

It was approximately 3 weeks for me.  Maybe a little less.

Well as long as I get them by the 14th I'll be happy so I have them on my trip.

Edit,

My order is complete today (28th) because of the holidays they were off tell today.  I can't wait to hear how these sound, I really think I'm going to love them judging from the reviews and the way their sound signature is described.  Since edm is all I listen to my TF10's are fantastic and now I think I may have finally found the dynamic driver IEM I've been looking for.

Does the FXT90 perform significantly better when amped, I have a FiiO E5 and was thinking of getting the E11 but the E5 has been fine with my TF10's and since the JVC only have 12 ohms impedance I think it would do fine.  It has 150mW at 16 ohms which is the same as the E11 on the low output setting but what I really want to know is does the E11 have a more refined sound over the 5?

Also other than FiiO what headphone amps would be good to use that are in the $50 to $100 range?  I've checked out the ZO2 and the Pyle PHE7AB DAC amp combo though I don't know how much I would ever use the DAC because I only preview new albums before I transfer them to my pmp.

I am pretty impressed with the JVC's thus far. The small single flanges seal perfectly for me and I'm finding the bass to be really damn good. I had the Monster MD Tributes for a while... I honestly don't see it as being that far off from the MD's in the sub bass region. I am having an issue with siblance right now... so I haven't been able to turn them up to brain shaking levels for very long. Those that have these... How long does one need to burn these in for things to smooth out a little?

Probably the Comply's or if you could find a good dual flange tip that would work well to.

Here's my advice (I'm not an audiophile and my english is poor, sorry)

After more than 50 hours of burn in, I decided to comment about these FXT90. I was looking for some fun sounding IEMs, though I'm actually more into balanced signature.
I used them mostly on my Rockboxed Fuze with double flange silicon tips (they look the same than those from Meelec), I listened to 256 and 320k mp3 and Flac files.

First thing I noticed, this engaging sound comes from the overall timbre giving a sense of brightness, of sparkles sometimes, but with no fatigue, and from the bass impact.

The sound is not as warm as I expected, in a good way

, soundstage is average in width and good in depth, make me feel I'm close to the scene, instrument separation is fine. Bass is deep, punchy, tight when needed, not overwhelming, very well defined and controlled, mids sound natural, but it seems upper mids are a bit forward, it's really noticeable with female vocals, highs lost their harshness from the beginning, they're crisp, full of sparkles, but far from being sibilant and they're not as extended as they are with Brainwavz B2.

I can say these earphones are very dynamic and powerful, they're fun but also fatigue free, my only complaints, I'd like them to be a bit more spacious and detailed.
I rank them just behind the B2.

Possibly the hifiman biflanges or the meelec balanced biflanges might work for you.

Just wanted to put a vouch in for White Rabbit Express as I saw another member recommend them a few weeks back; it was a quick and easy process, I submitted my request on Dec 19, received a quote on the 20th, paid for the item+fees on the 23rd (~$107). They received the item ready to ship on the 26th so I just had to pay for shipping (~$16 for EMS or ~$12 for Airmail, opted for EMS). Got my FXT90s yesterday (31st). Havent had much time to listen to them so far due to festivities but im liking what im hearing so far =).

Happy new years people

Very good review. I just picked up a pair and agree with your review, but I think they are a step ahead of the DBA's(B2's).

So this is what great timbre is all about, huh?

Some expert could give better explainations than mine I guess, maybe I'm wrong

. These JVCs are not as spacious as the B2 or the PR401, detail is on par with PR401, but behind B2, B2 keep their 1st rank.
