Does anyone have the TNZ No.3 and D10 (or H40)? Curious how the size compares to the D10 as the No.3 hurts my ears.

It is smaller, and the no.3 isn't comfortable for me either while the d10 actually is.

Thanks, appreciate the quick response.

Hopefully I like the D10, there's just way too many to choose from these days.

Yeah, that's what I was aiming for, It was originally a choice between the iBasso IT01 and No.3, then it spiraled out of control after I decided to read reviews.....for a good 40-50 hours.

That sounds...familiar :joy:

After reading @Dsnuts first post, I agree with the very detailed and informative cable rolling. I felt that the supplied ISN S8 was a little too treble peaky for me (without any IT04-like sparkle). A Penon CS819 hybrid brought more focus and extension to the bass but also the treble. I have just made a custom 7N OCC 160 strand 4W copper cable (somewhat like the ISN CU4) and it is a Goldilocks moment for me. Great bass extension and body, smooth but not overly dulled treble.

I'll write a more cogent review in a few days and compare this to the TRI I3.

Lot of folks don't believe cables have any affect on a sound but the H40 is clear evidence it does. It has quickly become by test bed for cables actually.
The changes in sound were what inspired me to learn how to make my own cables. The CU4-alike I made this morning was the first cable from scratch.

The D10 has better fit than No.3 for me. Can't go wrong with the D10 if you are ok with the No.3 sound signature.

I explained to someone that when you have that many experienced people saying they can hear the difference. It simply means the current form of testing is lacking and isn't at the level of human hearing. The test equipment needs an upgrade to something much more sensitive.

Looks nice. By the way the I3 does better with some silver in it be it SPC or pure silver. Could we
see a Sunstealer cables series?

LOL. I'm getting quicker at making them but I don't think it'll ever get to a stage where I could turn a profit! I just wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. I'm getting a lot of pleasure from the creative process.
I posted a mini review of the I3 on the TRI thread. Agreed, SPC best fit so far for I3. Ordered some OCC silver wire from Electro Acousti for a Sunstealer special.....
