The ones I've seen have all been pretty cheap as well. Toneking I believe made it. Have you seen any others to consider. I'm definitely not after anything like Audeze make.I have a planar iem, that would be a great way to go. I see quite a few of the small iem planar drivers on chinese sites now. I'm tempted to make one myself
The RHA CL2 seem interesting. Definitely not cheap though. The ones I've seen have all been pretty cheap as well. Toneking I believe made it. Have you seen any others to consider. I'm definitely not after anything like Audeze make.
Ah. I thought it was just a dynamic tuned to sound like a planar. The RHA CL2 seem interesting. Definitely not cheap though.
Also the MEE x Massdrop Planamic, an experimental combination of dynamic and planar as the name suggests.
You actually know this or are you just a big tease?Planar IEM's are next up.... I'm terrible at keeping secrets.
You are right, I wrote from memory. I just checked out the page and it’s a modified dynamic driver as you say, so scratch that.Ah. I thought it was just a dynamic tuned to sound like a planar.

So far, my experience is opposite of everyone else. I'm enjoying the V1 more than V2. More open sounding and less driver flex. I think with more time, they will both be about the same except for the driver flex. My V1 set was in phase when I received it..
The AKG N5005 is the first IEM I have seen come with a Warning that use could result in Cancer or Reproductive issues. State of California anyway.
