W4s have excellent soundstage and separation. It has slightly less bass than UM3X.

I can't find too many comparisons between IE80 vs JVC FXZ200 vs FX700. The ie8/80 sound is my reference point in terms of how I can compare sound from other users.

Good picks, when you get them let us know what you think and how they compare to the IE80's.

Most definitely. Both look promising. Not that the ie80 doesn't do the job for me...it's just the thrill and joy of finding something similar or better. This is an expensive hobby, and not my only one at that.

If you like how the IE80 sounds, maybe stick with them. Don't think of it as simply being satisfied and stop looking for better sound. Get a nice amp, DAC, maybr cables if you believe in that. At the level of IE80 and especially if that's good for 95% of your music. Most <$400 iems will probably be nothing more than a sidegrade. Maybe save up for a nice pair of customs or buy related audio gear. I don't have any experience first hand but I read a lot. So this is just what I've gotten from reading maybe 500h+ on this forum.
