Hi guys, i know the title sounds weird, but i've been A-Bing westone um2 and shure se 215, and for my fave iem, it woudl be for these 2 to get married and have a kid.
 
I like that the um2 has good soundstage.
For the se 215, i like its warmness, and coherence, the music sounds more like a whole, instead of separated.
 
But the se215 doesn't have a good soundstage, i listen to new divide by LP, and it sounds good on se 215, but feels just so-so.
However on the um2, this songs really shine, the drum beats at the start of the song, really makes me feel the soundstage, it' lively.
 
Now to the crazy thing, i've been listening to sam cooke, and i don't know what's his genre of music, but it goes really well with the se215, it feels whole, while listening to sam cooke's song from um2, it feels like the um2 gives it to me separately, no coherency.
 
So now, do you guys have any suggestion that would be a good mix of these 2?
 
Btw, the name of sam cooke's album that i have is portrait of a legend, it's his best compilation (i guess).

EX1000 or FX700 then, or get a custom IEM with anime pictures on it?

hahahaha, yeah that would be cool, but custom would be too ex and no guarantee that it will meets my criteria.
 
I've heard the ex1000 and fx700, imo, both of them sounds around the same, real close, but the fx700 for the easy fit. 
But these 2 don't have good isolation, which is the main reason why i go to the iem world.
 
Sigh....just why on earth did i follow those mp3 booms that time?

You're in China, you have the cheapest custom IEM companies over there! (Thousand Sound, Rooth etc.)

yeah fx 700 is that good, so far that's the best one i've tried if only it has good isolation. 
 
Now we're not even in a flac boom, there're tons of amps and dacs, and driver wars lol, it's world war here in head-fi world

Ah yeah the re262, people been saying a lot about that, some say it's good, some say it's boring or too analytical, which one is it actually? with all the criteria that i've written on the 1st post,do you guys think it's what i need?
