mine are like around $11 and they’re looking fine to me!You guys obviously like posh stands! My cheap and cheerful ones are definitely high enough so the wires are clear of the base. And that is with the phones supported by the metal band.
And the box . Mind you, the Stax covers are not cheap!
May I ask what foam cover do you use for the headband? Do you find it increases comfort? Now ,my Susvara are here...

The cover is almost certainly to prevent metal-to-metal contact with the arm of the stand. Your head only makes contact with the strap, so the cover won't have an impact on comfort other than adding a small amount of weight.May I ask what foam cover do you use for the headband? No, don't believe anyone who gives any answer other than an unqualified, emphatic nyet.Is Susvara still better with an underpowered tube amplifier compared to the HE1000SE running on the same amp?

ok thanks so I should stick with the HE1000SE with the Cayin HA-3A tube amplifier and maximise that headphone's potential instead of getting the Susvara and not wanting to upgrade my ampIf you can’t afford a proper amp take the HEKSE all day. Plus it scales as you improve the chain. You will be very happy with them til you have the right chain
You will be very satisfied. Especially if you have a good DAC.ok thanks so I should stick with the HE1000SE with the Cayin HA-3A tube amplifier and maximise that headphone's potential instead of getting the Susvara and not wanting to upgrade my amp
I have a Cayin HA-3A and Susvara doesn’t sound as good there. Can get it plenty loud only, but it’s left wanting.ok thanks so I should stick with the HE1000SE with the Cayin HA-3A tube amplifier and maximise that headphone's potential instead of getting the Susvara and not wanting to upgrade my amp

100% (if the hekse suits your listening preferences, of course)If you can’t afford a proper amp take the HEKSE all day. Plus it scales as you improve the chain. You will be very happy with them til you have the right chain
