For broad-band EQing there is no need to get complicated parametric equalizers. For EDM tracks, you can bump up 40-200 Hz (just adjust the bars so that it's a gentle hump centered around 100 Hz).
May I know what EQ software and settings you use to enable this beastmode? I have my HE-400 (jergpad modded) plugged into an Aune T1 with an Amperex 7308 and I'm still finding the bass impact lacking for my favorite EDM tracks. Would simply upping the lower frequencies on the iTunes equalizer do the job or must I do anything fancier?
