Hiby R6 Pro - serious upgrade to popular DAP

Thanks Joe:

As an alternative case, I was trying another music app in my Hiby R6 Pro, I would say that with PowerAmp i got results around 80 - 85 % against Hiby Music app.
Sadly, I am not happy with the latest update of firmware in Hiby so I had to try differents app in order to avoid MQA, this for while until Hiby release other firmware update (if happen), maybe you know other app as good as Hiby app?
You should try USB Audio Player Pro.

You should try USB Audio Player Pro.
Not sure how that would help him, as he explicitly needs to *avoid* bit-perfect transfer, to get the MQA to misfire, and UAPP is all about bit-perfectness.

I'm not sure why he is trying to do this, but I believe UAPP disables MQA if you turn "Bit-Perfect" off in the settings....

Thanks for comments.

In fact, I have just installed de USB Audio Player Pro. I was little scare due to once I setup it, I saw MQA in the screen in some tracks, but fortunately still possible to enable the equaliser. Thanks a lot!!! I wonder if UAPP can doit why not Hiby...?

There are also some extra features in the app for an extra pay, but I dont know if it worth.

The Toneboosters add-on gives you a parametric equalizer and Morphit lets you load profiles for various IEM/Headphones (it can simulate other devices in frequency response). Morphit will also let you EQ to Harman and other curves (if your device is on the list).

I am trying to run a signal from the R6 Pro Stainless over the supplied coaxial cable to the coaxial input on my Denafrips Aries II dac but no signal is present. I adjusted the settings to “coaxial” in the menu. Nothing. Any suggestions, or is this not possible? I saw mention of “lock” on another thread. Thanks in advance.

Anyone know if Hiby can repair the back panel glass to the R6? Mines is cracked and I need a fix eventually.

Has anyone came up with a way to monitor the charging of the Hiby R6?

Since the R6 has no speaker I tried to use a song or tone through Bluetooth to a external speaker but so far have had no luck.

It's been a while since I tried this and I was wonder if anyone else might have figured a method to check charge level other than constantly turning on the screen.

Good Evening,
I love the sound my R6 pro produces, but was wondering if with the latest version of firmware it can take a 1tb storage card, has this changed? I have a huge library and it would be great to get more onto the R6.

Is the bit about tone testing related to the question about charging?

Not sure why but are you looking for something like this? https://www.cablechick.com.au/cable...g-cable-with-built-in-volt-and-amp-meter.html
