The .2 update was rolled out to my region. I can also confirm that the .2 version fixes the 100% volume bug for me.

Yeah had it happen with Poweramp, despite the volume cap it went straight to 100 so now I'm very careful when first playing.

Except for MQA files. Those will not be affected by MSEB or any EQ type on this or any other device.

MSEB is system wide and allows a degree of EQ, the EQ proper is in the Hiby Music app and local only. A few of us are campaigning hard to have it moved to system wide as it makes much more sense and saves having to configure multiple EQs in different apps (I have 4!).

I'm sure we'll all agree that the worst thing about the Pro II is the buttons, both placement and being pushed accidentally by the leather case. I know they're not to everyone's taste but I like the 'gel' type covers and found one on AliExpress that has cutouts around the buttons so no more sharp edges when using it out of the case, no more accidentally playing the next track, no more trying to feel for where the buttons are when it's in the leather case... it works a treat, feels much nicer in the hand and shows off the design and colour if you ordered the purple one. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...o.order_list.order_list_main.5.21ef1802dU7RCr - make sure you click on the right picture or you'll get the soft carrying case.

This is what I mostly use...There's a software bug ( check the old pages), but nothing that prevent you from using it. An update is planned to correct it soon as Hiby told me.

Having dug out a cable I just tried it (balanced IEM and 3.5mm line out to iFi Gryphon) and I'm surprised to say that you can't use both at the same time, the headphone socket overrides the line out. Maybe someone can double check? It seems odd to me but plugging in the IEM kills the line out here.
