If anyone is after a used one of these there is a UK reputable seller/dealer selling a three month old one on ebay for £449.

Good thing I look in here occasionally as since I don't turn my unit off, I wouldn't have noticed the update - I assume it would have advised me on start up but well, I knew it existed so I just went to right screen.

I’ve updated mine, and the volume warning when one reaches 40% has gone!👍👍

I was going to comment after reading that last time, and then starting device right after the update to find it was still giving me that warning. I just restarted it and it hadn't reset my volume to below 40% so I reduced it down to 15 and restarted again... it no longer asks me... so maybe it shows the warning once, and then it no longer does every other time?

it may reset the settings if DAP runs out of battery but I try to avoid that happening.

Same as above, first time I tried it the warning came up however tried it just now and the warning is not there anymore. Hardly ever use the Hiby nowadays however shall try it out a few more times over the coming days just to make sure.

TIL its mandatory in EU.

I wonder if they have regional versions of the software updates or if package checks the location before making the changes.
