You won't be able to do that with MQA tracks on TIDAL on any player because MQA prohibits DSP.
If you're talking about regular tracks, "Sound Filed" (sic) is available as a systemwide audio plugin as well, if your R6 is running latest Android 8.1 firmware.
Thanks again. Understood, but does Android itself have a mono setting? Sorry, but I’m an iOS user and have no experience of Android. For example, you can go into the system wide settings in an iPhone and switch to mono.

Not on a regular Android, but as I pointed out, Sound Field is available as a system wide setting on the R6 (android 8.1 latest firmware), except overridden by MQA.

Would've preferred just two small semi-rings around the volume knob; that extra piece on top makes it look too chunky. Also, not too keen on the big Hiby logo on the bottom bezel. Overall I prefer the older, but cleaner & more streamlined look.
