Hey all. Is there a way to shuffle by album on the Hiby app? foobar has it, but I want to use hiby app or any other android app.

Try turning on "Play through folders" in the settings area of the Hiby app. Hiby calls them "folders" when I think they are actually "albums". My albums are listed alphabetically and when I play through the last song on one album it starts playing the first song in the next album in the alphabetical list. If your albums are sorted by some other means, I think it should play the next album in the sort you selected. I think this procedure needs to play through all the songs in the album to switch to the next album. I selected an album and started to play the last song in the album. When it finished, my R6 just stopped at the end of that song and did not switch to the next album. When it played through all the songs on the album, it did switch to the next album.Hey all. Hey thanks for the tip but I've found my perfect player that does everything I want. It's called Rocket Player and it can shuffle by any song, album, genre etc. It's even got replaygain. My search is finally over.
@Joe Bloggs How do you proceed with sending in a unit for repair if all the remediation procedures for the Hiby R6 Boot Loop issue persist?

If all solutions fail, email service@hiby.com with the issue and they should be able to direct you through the RMA process most... directly.
Best regards,
Joe

Yeah, @Joe Bloggs I was only able to install the firmware that you gave me. The wireless updates don't work for me... I'll give you the error message when I think of it. It tries to connect to some 0.0.0 IP address I think
/edit/ do I need to upgrade the Android OS separately from the Hiby firmware perhaps?
