So I finally got my R6 back after shipping it to HongKong to get it fixed. Whole process went perfect, so I am very happy with that.

Just a quick question, maybe I am missing something completely: I got the device back with the latest firmware (I had not upgraded to Oreo prior) and it seems like I can no longer get the drop down notification drawer working (when I slide from the top of the screen, nothing happens). Do I need to enable to option anywhere for it to work again?

Has anyone had problems with track transitions in the Hiby music app?

Basically I'm the opposite of most people in that I want a second of silence between tracks, ie the opposite of gapless. Maybe it is a psychological leftover from the days my CD player took a second to load the next song.

Anyway, I can't get it to stop being gapless. I changed it to insert silence in the settings, but it STILL instantly changes to next song with no gap and what's worse, I swear it's clipping songs off at the so that the song cuts the last half second off and the first half second of the next song which is very jarring when you're on shuffle rather than listening to an album.
Did you try turning gapless off in the main menu?

Just got my R6 as a second owner now and need some help from fellows that I use mostly Chi Fi BAs IEMs like DM7 S8F with direct 2.5 it does have issue related with high impedance but with 2.5 IEMatch it does rectify most of it but volume output with IEMatch is very very low like with full 100 volume I could enjoy music.

is there any workaround for this?

This High Impedance thing worried me before buying and it's happening now.

Can you describe what the issue is with the impedance? Have you tried using high gain on the r6 with the IEMatch?

Is this an over the air update or a painful ROM burn?
(I just bought a 2nd hand R6 and I'm waiting delivery.)
That depends on whether your 2nd hand r6 is on Android 6 or 8. If on 6, you will unfortunately need to follow the instructions here
https://www.head-fi.org/threads/hib...unded-indiegogo.852042/page-349#post-14703786

to update it to 8 before you will receive all the OTA updates (there are quite a few) that lead to the current ROM version with the global MSEB.

Hi All. Bit of a long shot but with the impending arrival I’m looking to try a balanced cable for iems. I’ve only ever used standard 3.5mm. I don’t want to hit the impedance issue straight off and would like to avoid an iematch if possible. Could anyone comment on using a pair of blon bl-03, TRN v90 or tin hifi T2 with the 2.5mm balanced output on the R6?

No issue for me, I have Blon BL03 and V90 both at 2.5mm balance cable.. I believed it’ll be good to U as well.. go get it both, Both are fantastic IMHO.. Enjoy Bro!
