Joe,

Thanks for all your work on this, rolling back the Tidal version sounds like a winner to me as this version worked :)
Which version? :ksc75smile:

I use a Sandisk micro sd card 400GB formatted as portable with my Hiby R6. I tried several times to copy 200GB music files to the card using a Windows 7 laptop, then a Macbook. The copy was successful, but most of 200GB music files did not show up on the card. Any advise to fix the problem? Many thanks.

@Joe Bloggs

I love the R6 but I just have a question about Spotify in the R6. When I try the built-in equalizer in Spotify it directs me to the Snapdragon Audio equalizer. Does this mean that Spotify can't use the the ESS dac? Is there a fix to this?

I am not sure what "portable" format means. I use guiformat (FAT32). It is available for download just search it out. Try a few files first in a card reader then check.

No it means it is pointing to a piece of software that has been disabled, bypassed, part of what DTA is all about. Try tweaking settings on the snapdragon equalizer--no effect.

The sound do change when i tweak the snapdragon EQ. But What I was really asking was if it is just using the EQ software of the snapdragon but still using the ESS dac?

That's news to me--but yes. The sample rate indicator on the notification shade wouldn't appear if the ESS DACs weren't receiving audio.

Yup the sample rate does appear in the notification shade above while using Spotify. But then again the snapdragon equalizer does affect on the sound too.

Indeed, so what's the next step Joe, im thinking it's not as easy as rolling out the rollback?
Techs tell me "it is what it is" regarding what sample rates TIDAL gives out to the R6, we're not changing what's given to us nor can we change it (resampling down by mistake like in previous firmware excepted). So it seems there's little that can be done other than keeping TIDAL informed and waiting for them to fix it in the next release.
