Hello everyone,

Firmware 1.28G on R6 is released. Just get your R6 update via OTA right now! :beerchug:

What's new:
1. Optimized the stability and compatibility of DAC function.
2. Added support of Huawei Bluetooth protocol LHDC. (Need to use some Huawei headphones with the same support protocol)
3. Fixed some bugs.

OTA update steps: Wireless Update -> Check for updates -> Update.

The USB DAC Driver is total rewritten.

Yes, Thanks Joe for continue doing that.
To be precise I gave them an edit-enabled link to the two repos so HiBy can update it on their end. Well let me know if there are any problems, I don't see the latest r3 and r6 firmwares added there just yet.

Mine is still at 1.27beta. No update is available in wireless update.
Maybe I have to download the update manually and do the local update?

So I set up a 128 gb SanDisk SD card into my HiBy R6.
I put it as portable storage and was able to, at first, be able to transfer many of my files from my computer to it.

However, now I can't seem to do it anymore even though I have more than enough space left on the card. I don't get any message when I try to --- just a loud beep sound from my computer -- it only seems like now it will allow me to put it into internal storage (which I don't want to do).

I'm using Windows 10 by the way.
Is there anyway that I can solve this?
Thanks

A private message was sent to help you manually update on R6. Please check, thank you.

Is it desktop computer? How about changing to connect through rear panel USB port?

I sold my R6 about 6 months ago, and I had it for a few months. It’s been out for a year now so an R6 pro isn’t too early in my book, it’s is early though. The reason I sold mine was WiFi. I stream Tidal pretty much exclusively now and the WiFi was atrocious on the R6. It came down to the R6 and X7 gen II. Boths WiFi is their weak points but at the time the X7 was acting better than the R6. The R6 would just spin and spin. I’ve since purchased a Sony XZ2 phone to stream ldac to my sony wh1000 xm2 and aptx hd to my earstudio es100 and aptx to my fiio q5. WiFi on a phone is so much better.

Actually, the R6 didn't start shipping until February, 2018. So 7 months.
