Question for those playing DSD files, does the equalizer and/or MSEB alter the playback at all?
I'm able to change the tone of FLAC and MP3 but not DSD.
Is this how it's supposed to be?

Is the Google play store active on the Hiby R6s that everyone is receiving?

It (=MSEB) doesn't seem to work for DSD (what appears to be logic IMHO, DSD is 1bit and very high samplerates, so it's not logic to fix it to even 192K). Or do I miss something ? (maybe DSD mode ?)You can force the equalizer and/or MSEB to function on all tracks by enabling "Fixed output sampling rate" and setting it to any one of the settings.
Hi. For example I bought my R6 from Penon Audio, does this mean that my R6 will be different firmware wise to the international market ones? Or I can just go and flash the the internatinal rom?All units purchased through Indiegogo have a functioning Google Play out of the box. If you obtained your unit from the Chinese market it doesn't. But it can be added by following the instructions here: https://1drv.ms/t/s!AtuiwfIBRYFEgbME4SmSecBqpACLww Note however that such an R6 would still be different firmware-wise from the international version.
read here, he already explained this, I'm afraid.... : https://www.head-fi.org/threads/hib...unded-indiegogo.852042/page-163#post-14154148Hi. I have a question here : I tried to use the SPDIF (android audio) setting and a 3.5mm TS to 3.5mm TS (mono) cable (something like this : https://www.amazon.com/Hosa-CMM-305-Mono-Interconnect-Cable/dp/B001O5J47U ) to connect my Chord Mojo. I use succesfully the same cable with a Cayin N5 (the original one) that also proposes a 3.5mm SPDIF (coax) connector. But with the R6 I get no sound on the Mojo. Why is that ?The digital output of the R6 is coaxial digital (i.e. electrical signals not optical). The adapter cable provided in the package would connect the R6 and a device with a full sized RCA coaxial digital input directly but your Hugo 2 has a 3.5mm input. So get an adapter cable with a female RCA end and a male 3.5mm end.
I read about it on Russian forum. We're did you read about a root method for the R6? Flashing a SuperSU zip requires a TWRP based recovery. Where did you find a link to that?
I believe the R6 is setup the same way FiiO Daps are. You need a special cable. TSSR to TS.I have a question here : I tried to use the SPDIF (android audio) setting and a 3.5mm TS to 3.5mm TS (mono) cable (something like this : https://www.amazon.com/Hosa-CMM-305-Mono-Interconnect-Cable/dp/B001O5J47U ) to connect my Chord Mojo. Do I have really to use a female RCA to 3.5mm cable together with the SPDIF adapter from the bundle ?
