I have the zx300 and id definitely be interested in this as it would offer a different SQ. I just wish these came with dual card slots but that is getting redundant with high capacity mSD cards in the fray.

So I just recently got my hands on a lot of DSD files.

Using the r6 as a source outputting to 2.5mm balanced IEMs, in both DoP and native mode there is a noticeable drop off/deficit in bass. Everything sounds very thin. When set back to PCM mode the bass returns. Anyone else experiencing this? Is this normal?

That is absolutely normal. When you are listening to native DSD - you hear the music as it was recorded. The R6 hardware has a slightly warm presentation (more bass) - but it can be done only in PCM mode. So when you are listening to in DSD mode the original R6 presentation is off.

But having said that I know the Mojo is still much loved. When I sold mine it was snapped up within 48 hours at the asking price.

I have the mojo and I wanted to buy a r3 to connect it, I saw that the r6 has the DTA for the bit-perfect and therefore I was interested.
