In my personal opinion there is no need to force the use of a 1 TB SD card. What kind of Sandisk card you use (quality). You have to format it to exFAT file system by default.Anyone have luck using a Sandisk 1T micro SD card with their R6 2020? I had been using a Samsung 512G without any issues at all. I decided to pick up a Sandisk to get more storage, but it won't format properly and is not being recognized by the R6. Is this just me or the SD card I got or is it a problem with Sandisk?

I couldn't get the Sandisk to work. I returned it. Going to stick with the Samsung 512G. It's enough space. I just needed a second SD card for my second DAP so I thought I'd try to 1T. It wasn't worth the effort and I have no idea why it didn't work.In my personal opinion there is no need to force the use of a 1 TB SD card. What kind of Sandisk card you use (quality). HiBy states that the R6 supports microSD cards up to 2TB, so there shouldn't be any "forcing" involved. In my personal opinion there is no need to force the use of a 1 TB SD card.
Where did you get it? Like they said, lots of fakes. I'd try formatting it to FAT32 outside the R6 and see if it then gets recognized. FAT 32 limit is also 2TB. Here's a card tester.Anyone have luck using a Sandisk 1T micro SD card with their R6 2020? I had been using a Samsung 512G without any issues at all. There's no need to format to FAT32 for these devices however. exFAT (as the cards are usually formatted out of the factory) works just fine.Where did you get it? Like they said, lots of fakes. I would just like to comment on the uapp opinions. I am now using roon and am not missing the uapp crashes and it's rather ugly ui.
I am thankful for the uapp app and it's developers. I have paid for it and will use it from time to time.
In Roon i have all the options i need and more, especially on pc. Adios.
I have actually not used Roon with the R6 2020 but since i already have uapp then i will just use that until there is a fix.Have you figured out a way to bypass SRC? My R6 2020 resamples everything to 44.1 with Roon, i.e. no high resolution.
