Yes, fix known issues first before introducing new ones.
The -13 error and not remembering the volume despite the setting for it are the top of my list.

On December 29, my r1 arrived. I am very glad, he is really excellent. Today I tested it on the volume — it plays incomparably. Error 13 appears if an sd card was inserted before turning on the player, and the error disappears after restarting. I can say that the sound power is more than 0.12 watts. I set the sound volume gain to high, set the volume to 100, and the player doesn't remember the volume level the first time. In general, this baby is very hot.

This is a known issue and has been discussed here many times. Fix is expected to be released before Chinese New Year.
The UI also gets stuck from time to time using the A-Z bar on the artists section, only fixed by rebooting.
The issues seem to be piling up tbh, I really hope the update fixes most of them. I'm kinda regretting not getting the m300.

I considered getting the M300 but apparently it is for Gen-Z which I am not.
Also it is twice as expensive and runs Android, neither is what I was looking for.
This is a new device, hopefully it sells well enough to get some updates. The potential is there and it is by no means unusable as it is (though the bugs are annoying).

The fixes are on the way. They are expected to be out before Chinese New Year.
I have the hope that the update will fix a considerable number of issues and bugs because this little gadget is super nice and cute.

@Joe Bloggs have you some information if dark theme is planned in firmware release before Chinese New Year?
@Joe Bloggs Is there also any info on Bluetooth connectivity improvements or fixes you can share? A bunch of us are still having trouble with Bluetooth headphones connecting and staying connected.
