The Denons vary a lot in price over time.  Often J&R will give you better deals if you call them up, but that may cost quite a bit from your end.
 
If you don't mind waiting, watching, and checking almost daily they'll probably dip below $250US within another few months.  That's not very fun though...

Yeah waiting a few months sounds like a pretty yuck idea haha.

Just coated my old ear pads in liquid electrical tape. Waiting for them to dry, hope it keeps out some more ambient noise!
