At my college:

  1. Another pair of Ultrasone PRO 900's besides mine.
  2. Several ATH-M50's
  3. Beats
  4. Justbeats
  5. Bose QC2, OE2, Triport, etc.
  6. Skullcandy Skullcrushers, etc.
  7. Sennheiser HD201/202/203/205/280
  8. AIAIAI TMA-1

Saw someone wearing a Bose QC2 with the headband floating behind the back of his head.  I guess some people are scared of headphone hair.

I also saw a white pair of Beats Studio held together at one joint with scotch tape, the wire exposed at the left ear cup and at the plug.

Beats and iBuds, just the usual stuff, looks like everybody in our school, and I mean everybody, are getting Beats, and they don't accept negative opinions on them.

Layton audio on st cath. To be honest with you, prices aren't good at our store; but you can negotiate and save a bit if you pay cash/interac. You can always drop by to try out some headphones, there's about 40 available for demo.

Where do you work? Maybe I'll stop by. (It's likely that I already have... I've been to most of them)
I see the ath m50 the most in downtown montreal (excluding beats and that other junk)

A guy with gray hair. And they were 380 when the p5s first came out...
We had a discussion about the denons being warm/cold.
I still think th d5000 are warm while the d2000 are cold...
I also noticed the akg k550 on display xP

I live in Southern California, the epidemy of mainstream influence. A very, very vast majority of the kids in my high school wear Beats Studio, Beats Solo, Skullcandy Ink'd, and iBuds. Barely anything else. Also saw two kids with Beats Pro.

Anyway, from the very limited amount of Head-Fi worthy cans on campus, I've seen:

• Grado SR-80i
• Sony XB-700
• JVC XX IEMs
• A set of JVC over-ears I cannot identify.

That's it. -Sigh- I usually use my TF10s straight out of the headphone jack on my 4S, or occasionally I'll bring my M50. People have asked me: "Do those have good bass?", "What brand are those?", "Monitor headphones? Let's go, DJ!" (in regard to my M50), and my favorite... "Why didn't you buy Beats? Were they too expensive? LOL! Pay for the best, hear the best."
