I was walking around the street Bathurst/College (Toronto) area and saw a dude with what I believe to be Denon D5000 or D7000 walking down the street. I saw them and I kinda lipped "wow" and I think he saw me do that lol. Was kinda staring at him as we walked by.

I've done it with my K702s. Do it regularly with my DT770s.

The DT770 is totally fine, but try using a fully open can while commuting or in the library. My fist would strike your nose without any hesitation or feeling of guilt.

The 702 don't leak that much noise - even in a library setting, but certainly not in a commuting one. Mostly it would be bad for the person wearing them.

But frankly, hit me for wearing open cans in public, it won't end well for you (not to mention, still better than the kids using the cellphone speakers to listen to music on the train)

:)

Listening to music on my laptop with my Q701 (amped) late at night makes me think I may as well use the built-in speakers. If I set my headphones down and walk over to the bedrooms, I can hear them pretty well. Then again our place isn't huge and I probably blast the music proportionate to the type of day I had.

:D ... also, there should be a law against the usage of mobile phones as speakers in public.

In the episode of Modern Family (abc) that Cee Lo Green was in, there were two pairs of Skullcandy Aviators, at least two pairs of AKG's, and some other headphones I didn't recognize.

Well, I just watched the Super Bowl half-time show just to watch Madonna's performance (I'm not an American football fan, but I grew up with Madonna's songs). Apparently LMAO was in the performance and one of the guys was wearing a pimped out, 'diamond' encrusted Beats Pro headphone. I don't have any pics though since it flashed by too quickly.
