Today I saw someone listening music through a pair of Beyerdynamics DT770 80 Ohm, under the rain. I was quite surprised actually.

The past week I noticed 2 people on the Toronto subway with some Turbine Coppers, hopefully real. :p

More of a brief social interaction than a sighting, but while walking through the interchange in Leeds while wearing SR225i's a bearded man walked past me, pointed at his head and gave me a thumbs up. Took me a few minutes to piece it together though.
I thought this was funny.

My wife always jokes about using the same "universal gesture" (point at head, thumbs up for Sennheisers, thumbs down for Beats). I read your post to her and she was tickled and assured.

This evening at McCarran I saw some Bose over-ear with the ANC light on, and a pair of Ferrari-branded Beats Studios with the battery door missing. Also a very pretty and fit-looking young lady with white Studios. She was wearing black tights with a lot of junk in them. Probably a, um, dancer.

^ lol

I've seen HD448, HD558, Beats Pro's/Solo's, Souls, and one Beats Pro Detox at community college. Go figure.

This happened a while back, but I was biking along when I saw someone walking with headphones on. Normally I would have biked past, but what really struck me was the woodied cups, and the massive sound leakage. So I turned back, and asked the complete stranger if the headphone he had on was a Grado. He was confused for a while, but checked the model name on the cups, and nodded. He said that he had gotten them as a gift from his son, and sounded amazing. I'm positive that the Grados were either the RS1 or the GS 1000i.

Man, when I get a kid, I definitely am making him buy me Grados.

I saw someone in the university library on a computer wearing what looked just like a Fostex T50rp, but I wasn't sure at the time. It could have been something with the exact same form factor I guess.

Some random movie about 3 girls in a rock band just came on TV. Normally I don't watch stuff like that but I noticed they were in a recording studio. I noticed they were wearing Grados. They were supra aural and completely silver except for the headband. Probably the HP1000

Sounds like Josie and the *****cats.

No sightings here on the Gulf Coast. I'll see Beats and iBuds at the malls in New Orleans, but that's about it. Kids at my school don't seem to wear headphones in between classes. Keeping my eyes (and ears!) peeled.
