Audio Technica ATH-M50's, Klipsch S4i's, and a pair of Sennhesier HD25-I-II's. Yep, all those I saw at my HS last Friday.

One of the most legendary moments I've had so far. I'm standing waiting to get on the Subway on Bloor line in Toronto. I see somebody with a Beyeredynamic DT770pro and I have a little smirk on my face and stand next to him, then there was this other dude with ATH-M30 model I think, which was like woah, then another man with a KOSS Portapro... talk about not mainstream! We all got on the same cart and were standing close to each other, was pretty awesome! Non-beats crew haha. I was wearing Sony ZX700s. Yeeaahhhh

Rob Dyrdek wore a pair of Fostex T40RP MKII's when recording the intro to a Devo song on Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory - Season 4

very beat up DT770... not sure what vintage, but it had a cracked leather headband and the grey velours had turned brown. Gross.

It's because the velour absorbs the grease from your hair and face. It's only noticeable on light coloured velour like what the Beyer headphones use. It does happen to other velour earpads though, you wont see or notice it though if your velour earpads are dark coloured.

Heh I was approached once by someone, also at the Bloor Line when I was listening to Deadmau5 on the hd800's and asked how I like them, and once on Sheppard listening to Mozart asking if the 800's are a part of the 500 line. Still nice to know people can spot a Senn around.

Oh for sure I would imagine so in the states. In Canada though, at least where I wander in Toronto, I have only seen two other people wear them anywhere I've been, besides me.

@Torontoraccoon you wore Hd800s on the subways? Holy crap man you must be loaded. Grados I've seen a few around campus, actually just once. Can you hear anything while on the bus/subway wearing Grados?

Saw a woman wearing a pair of Grados on her neck at the mall. So it's true that girls are more brave than guys!

Bus, yes. Train/Subway - it depends. They are definitely not ideal for that - but since that is only 40% of my commute sometimes I'm ok with the trade-off.
