I saw some k240s on somebody the other day in downtown seattle by pikes market.....he was setting up some dj equipment, so I was glad to see some decent phones on him!

Saw a really tall guy (over 2 meter) with Denon D1000s in Yonge/Bloor subway station
Those  medium size cans look quite small and portable on him

not too many noteworthy sightings at my school. Surprisingly, I've only seen one or two ibuds there, but the rest are skullcandies and gummys. the best I've seen is a pair of bose iems.

I finally saw my first set of non-beats, non-ibud headphones today at school. Saw someone walking around with a pair of Beyerdynamics. Not sure which model it was, but I was glad to see something like that around. lol.

Well today while I was letting my friends listen to my m50 at school, I let this one guy try em out and I found out that he has grado sr80s. Thats the first time I have ever met anyone who owned grados. Now I have also seen sennheiser hd205 II, sennheiser hd218, some hd202s, a bunch of Bose, some beats and skullcandy. Im glad that my school is starting to get a little better with headphones.

A student with a DT770-600, old model powered with his Ipod... He says he gets decent sound which I find very hard to believe. Philips HP400, Audio Technica ESW???, Sony models, Aiaiai TMA1?, Beats By Dre and the occasional standard ear bud...

Visited JMU for an AVID (high school course) field trip which is an awesome university by the way and saw I guy from what I believe to be a Sennheiser HD428... followed by a dude with a skateboard and Skullcandy headphones.

A few weeks ago I saw a hipster with what I believe was a beyerdynamic T50p. It matched his Mac, at any rate. I wanted to ask him about it and tell him I have a pair of DT880, but something told me he wouldn't have understood.
 
I also saw a guy with Beats quite a while ago.
 
Other than that, it's mostly a dearth of good (or even notable) headphones on Wayne State's campus. Mostly just nondescript Sonys and the like.
 
On television I've been seeing a lot of the Sennheiser HD25 (not sure which variant--it's the one with the attached microphone boom) lately, and I've seen a few Sony V6 in shots of radio studios.
 
EDIT: About two weeks ago I could have sworn I saw some guy with a Q701 (the lime green Quincy Jones K701). Couldn't tell for sure, and I didn't catch what he was playing through them.
