Dude walking on the bike path today, rocking a sweatband and porta-pros, connected to a nice looking handheld radio, straight out of the 80s. Wish I could wear them without losing 10 hairs every time I take them off... maybe that's why he was bald

Saw a guy wearing a hd 600. In a mall, not sure if amped.

Reminded me the days when I actually wore my hd 650s outside. They were more than comfortable and light to do so.

I'm surprised that the HD 201 is actually good. Good job, Sennheiser. I actually spotted an HD 201 on a shelf in Nostalgia Critic's 'Suburban Knights.'

I recently saw a Philips X1 on a Youtuber playing GTAV on PC. Or was it an X2? How does one differentiate them?

The X2 is all-black, from the leather to the mesh to the actual housings. The X1 IIRC has a white ring on the earcup, and has a brown leather headband.

EDIT: Wait, a YouTuber? Coudl it be JackSepticEye, by any chance? If so, that's an X1.

I can see lots of beats, cheap sony and cheap pioneer.

I have absolutley nothing against beats, their sound will be liked by some, even more if they listen to rap or such. But i am really wondering what is up with so many sony headphones. There is no promotion, no nothing, yet they are extremely popular. Their sound is not bad by far, probably, for the price, is amazing, but i cannot understand how so many people got to them, there is zero advertising for them in any shop, street or anywhere.

At least the cheapest options seem to be getting better, and as many will not invest lots on headphones, i think that those who buy cheap ones will be very happy if the cheapest options become even better sounding.

About this, if one has a cheap pair of headphones, combined with a smartphone/iphone or from a windows/MAC/Linux PC, i invite you all to my software thread. It will improove all headphones SQ, regardless of operating system or device!

I had seen another pair of ie80, a little while ago in carreffour. I wonder if they were genuine.
