Heh, I just use my Titan 1 in the car and already my parents are complaining. I can only imagine how bad it will be if I use actual open headphones...

I occasionally choose to use my HD580s out and about. I even have a nice short portable cable for them. Secondhand drum & bass for eeeeveeeryyoonnnee!

Wouldn't that ruin the idea of hifi audio? With other noises around, you wouldn't be able to hear all the detail and stuff that give reason for having the 240.

Saw a dude with the Alessandro MS1s in my school department's computer lab today. Now I know why people say not to use open headphones out and about, they were leaking a lot of sound.

And I usually listen to them in class in quiet rooms... And I listen rather quietly usually. Nobody complains much.

Lol I sometimes take my modded HE500 out and about using a shortened cable and powered out of my PB2. Not ideal but still sounds fantastic even with the noise.

There's always a sweet spot in volume for open headphones where it's loud to hear and block out most sounds, but quiet enough to not let anyone else hear it.
 
And sometime I like listen to the music passively and really quietly during lectures. Kinda like background music for my life

On the same topic, my good friend @kilspeed111 brought his HD800 to school. It produced pretty funny results.
